Innovations and Technologies

• 3rd Generation ASYM-Light. The asymmetric optical design directs light towards the desk rather than the screen. This eliminates monitor glare and direct glare into the eyes.

• Ultrasonic motion sensor. The lamp turns on when you are approximately 60 cm from the monitor and switches off after 5 minutes of absence. No manual operation is required.

• Ambient light sensor. Brightness adjusts automatically according to the lighting conditions in the room.

• Clip-on mechanism for curved monitors. The patented mounting system accommodates monitor thicknesses from 0.43 to 6.5 cm and curvature ratings of 1000R–1800R. It does not obstruct the webcam lens.

Most monitor lights illuminate only a narrow strip in front of the keyboard. BenQ ScreenBar Pro covers an area of 85 × 50 cm at 500 lux, with center illuminance exceeding 1000 lux. Its third-generation ASYM-Light asymmetric optics direct light towards the desk and documents, keeping the screen free from glare. The ultrasonic motion sensor turns the lamp on when you sit down and switches it off after 5 minutes of absence. The built-in ambient light sensor adjusts brightness to suit the lighting conditions in the room. Color temperature can be adjusted from 2700 K to 6500 K: warm light for the evening and cooler light for daytime concentration. The clip-on mechanism attaches to flat and curved monitors measuring 0.43–6.5 cm thick and does not obstruct the webcam. The Dual Color LED, with Ra ≥ 95 and Rf ≥ 96, delivers accurate color reproduction, while the flicker-free driver and EU blue-light certification further support comfortable lighting. Power is supplied via USB-C through a fixed 180 cm cable, with power consumption of up to 8.5 W. The silver aluminum alloy and polycarbonate finish complements a wide range of desk setups.
