Main Features

• 3K image resolution (2880 × 1620). Captures more detail than 1080P, making it useful for monitoring larger areas such as gardens, driveways and car parks.

• 360° horizontal coverage. One camera can monitor multiple directions from a single mounting point, while Patrol Mode moves the camera between preset positions.

• Starlight Color and two spotlights. The camera can provide colour images in low-light conditions instead of relying exclusively on black-and-white night vision. The infrared illuminator has a range of up to 29.9 m.

• AI detection. The camera distinguishes between people, pets and vehicles, helping provide more relevant notifications than standard motion detection.

• Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity. If the wireless signal is weak, the camera can be connected via an Ethernet cable, while two external antennas help extend Wi-Fi coverage.

• IP66 protection and operation from -30 °C to 60 °C. Designed for outdoor installation, the camera is suitable for exposure to rain, dust and extreme temperatures.

Monitoring a garden, entrance and car park often requires more than a fixed camera angle, which is why the TP-Link Tapo C530WS combines 3K image resolution with 360° horizontal coverage from a single mounting point. Its resolution is 2880 × 1620 pixels, while Patrol Mode and motion tracking allow the lens to move between preset positions or follow a moving subject. At night, the infrared illuminator provides visibility up to 29.9 m, while Starlight Color technology and the two built-in spotlights enable colour imaging in low-light conditions. The AI detection system identifies people, pets and vehicles, as well as line crossing and camera tampering, helping to make notifications more selective and relevant. The camera connects via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi using two external antennas, with an outdoor range of up to 150 m under the manufacturer's test conditions, or through the Ethernet port for a wired connection. Its IP66-rated housing supports operating temperatures from -30 °C to 60 °C, while unwanted visitors can be deterred with a siren of up to 93 dB, lighting or a custom audio message. Recordings can be stored locally on a microSD card of up to 512 GB, sold separately, or in the Tapo Care cloud service, which requires a subscription and includes a 30-day free trial. The camera is managed through the Tapo app for iOS 12.0+ and Android 5.0+, and the privacy mode allows the lens to be physically blocked by the housing. It supports RTSP and ONVIF, works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and can be mounted on a wall, ceiling or pole, with pole mounting straps available separately.
