The Nubi NK87 is a clean, minimal, and reliably built 80% Keyboard designed for users who want a classic mechanical keyboard experience with modern refinement.

It features mechanical pre-lubed G3MS Sapphire switches, Double-Shot ABS keycaps and poron soundproofing to deliver a soft and creamy typing sound. Additionally the stabilizers are fine-tuned and greased at the factory and it's supported by powerful web-based software that allows you to customize your keyboard on the spot, whether you're on Windows or MacOS. No unnecessary extras, just pure uncompromising performance.

Built around a sturdy plastic chassis with matching doubleshot ABS keycaps, the NK87 delivers a uniform aesthetic from top to bottom. The plate adds subtle contrast while maintaining structural rigidity, and the board sits on four rubberized legs for stable, consistent desk grip.

Inside, the case is reinforced with Poron dampening to eliminate hollowness, while the plate features targeted foam under the spacebar for added control and sound balancing. The result is a smooth, muted acoustic profile that stays consistent across all keys.

The NK87 uses pre-lubed G3MS Sapphire mechanical switches (Specs listed below). Lubed by machines instead of manually in order to provide a consistent, crisp and stable typing feel. With hot-swap supoport (for both 5-Pin and 3-Pin switches) on all 87 keys, you can replace switches instantly without soldering. The stabilizers are mounted on the plate instead of the PCB which also allows for additional customization if you're an enthusiast. Although we don't know why you would change them because they're also lubricated to eliminate wobble and are tuned for a deep and consistent sound profile.

The Cherry-profile keycaps are made from Doubleshot ABS using Nubi’s own mold, featuring transparent legends designed to pair perfectly with the keyboard’s soft white backlight. Additionally the included 1.8m braided cable matches the body's color for a seamless setup.

G3MS Sapphire Switch Specs:
The Blackrock engineering team introduced the G3MS switches as their inaugural switch design. This innovative design features a reduced connection area between the stem (the moving part) and the housing, resulting in a smaller friction area. As a result, these switches offer a remarkably smooth operation, eliminating the occurrence of spring ping and any bothersome sounds commonly experienced with other switch types.
