ATEN KA7177-AX is a USB VGA Virtual Media KVM adapter (CPU module) designed to connect servers and workstations to ATEN KVM over IP and matrix KVM solutions via a standard Cat5e/6 cable. It consolidates video, USB, and Smart Card/CAC signals into a single RJ-45 link, significantly simplifying cabling and easing the management of large infrastructures.

The module is built for environments where reliability and security are critical—corporate server rooms, data centers, control rooms, financial institutions, and government organizations. Virtual Media support enables remote mounting of ISO images, installations, and updates without physical access to the machine. The additional USB Smart Card/CAC port ensures compatibility with systems requiring strong authentication.
