Acest modul transceiver de tip SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) 1000Base-LX este compatibil cu modul de tip Small Form Factor Pluggable Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA). Acesta este compatibil simultan cu Gigabit Ethernet, astfel cum este specificat in IEEE Std 802.31 si 1x Fibre Channel, asa cum este definit in FC-PI 13.03.
