• ASYM-Light with an 18° cut-off angle. Light is directed onto the desk rather than the screen or your eyes. This reduces glare while helping preserve accurate screen colors.

• 24 GHz mmWave radar. The light detects your presence 60 ± 10 cm in front of the monitor and turns on when you sit down. No manual interaction is required.

Central illuminance of over 1000 lux and coverage of 85 × 50 cm at 500 lux provide effective lighting for your keyboard, notebook, and documents. ASYM-Light optics with an 18° cut-off angle direct the beam toward the desk rather than the screen or your eyes. The Rf > 96 color fidelity rating indicates accurate color reproduction for books, sketches, and printed samples.

The mmWave radar turns the light on when you sit down, while the ambient light sensor maintains comfortable illumination at around 500 lx. Color temperature can be adjusted from 2700 to 6500 K, and brightness can be smoothly adjusted from 0 to 100%.

During video calls, Video Call Mode reduces brightness in the center and illuminates the sides, while the macOS app lets you save personalized settings for individual applications. Power is supplied through the USB-C port on the back of the iMac, and the magnetic cable organizer keeps the cable tidy.

The light is compatible only with iMac 2021 and later. It is not designed for the Apple Studio Display or other monitors.
